The book series, International Perspectives in Philosophy and Psychiatry (IPPP) was launched in 2003 and extended to include the Oxford Handbooks in 2013

The series and Handbooks include over fifty volumes covering key areas of contemporary inter-disciplinary scholarship between philosophy and mental health

The IPPP book series and Oxford Handbooks offer complementary resources for the interdisciplinary field.

The Handbooks are larger volumes. Like other OUP Handbooks, they offer comprehensive edited collections of the work of key contributors to a given area of the field in the form of authoritative overviews that also advance the area in question.

The IPPP Book Series

The IPPP book series offers both up-and-coming and established scholars the opportunity to publish book-length presentations of their work. With over fifty volumes the series covers a wide range of topics of both philosophical and practical interest: delusion, free will, addiction, and many more.

Lisa Bortolotti’s Delusions and Other Irrational Beliefs won the American Philosophical Association’s book prize for 2011.
